Regular Season Round 14: Mgzavrebi - Dinamo 75-86

Another interesting game was again a derby between two local teams from Tbilisi: Dinamo (#5) and Mgzavrebi (#11). Mgzavrebi was defeated at home 75-86 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game was mostly controlled by Dinamo. Mgzavrebi managed to win third quarter 24-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American center Barret Benson (208, college: SIU) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. International point guard Luka Bulashvili (192-98) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. Dinamo's coach Muhammed Muya Tachi used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Taylor Adway (205-96, college: Ferris St.) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Canadian guard Jadon Cohee (193-96, college: UBC) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Four Mgzavrebi players scored in double figures. Dinamo maintains fifth position with 4-6 record, which they share with 3 other teams. Mgzavrebi at the other side stay at the bottom place with eight games lost.
