The game in Vilnius was also worth to mention about. Belarusian Tsmoki-Minsk played at the court of Lithuanian Kibirkstis. Kibirkstis managed to secure a 4-point victory 62-58. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Kibirkstis dominated down low during the game scoring 42 of its points in the paint compared to Tsmoki-Minsk's 20. They outrebounded Tsmoki-Minsk 39-26 including a 33-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Kriste Timofejeva who scored 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Justina Miknaite (180-1) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds. Kibirkstis' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Britney Jones (174-87, college: UAB, agency: LBM Management) produced 29 points (was perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line !!!) and forward Ala Murauskaya (187-85) added 14 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Kibirkstis' next round opponent will be Olimpia in Grodno and are hoping to win another game. Tsmoki-Minsk will play on the road against TTT Riga and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
