Regular Season Round 13: CFBB - Montbrison 82-86

No shocking result in a game when tenth ranked Montbrison (3-7) beat bottom-ranked CFBB (2-10) in Paris 86-82 on Friday. Slovenian center Tina Trebec (190-90, agency: LBM Management) nailed 24 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side and center Maelys Martinet (187-99) accounted for 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Sara Roumy (180-3) came up with 20 points (made all of her eight free throws) and guard Manoe Cisse (161-4) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for CFBB in the defeat. Five Montbrison and four CFBB players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Montbrison moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Calais. CFBB lost their third game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. Montbrison will meet higher ranked Mondeville (#7) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. CFBB will play against Mondeville (#7) and hope to secure a win.
