Rather expected game in Pamplona where 6th ranked Navarra (5-7) was defeated by third ranked Menorca (11-3) 74-70 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Dutch center Menno Dijkstra (213-97, college: UC Riverside) who scored 25 points. Victor Moreno (195-98) chipped in 4 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Menorca's coach Oriol Pages allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Power forward Adrian Garcia (202-85) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and swingman Inaki Narros (195-81) added 15 points respectively for the hosts. Menorca moved-up to second place in Silver. Loser Navarra dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Menorca will face Tarragona (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Navarra will play against Prat and hope to win that game.
