Regular Season Round 18: Lowicz - Krosno 86-83

A very interesting game took place in Lowicz. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 10th ranked Miasto Szkla (7-10) to eighth ranked Lowicz (10-8) 86-83 on Saturday evening. Lowicz made 16-of-19 charity shots (84.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Mikolaj Stopierzynski (190-94) who scored 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Maciej Kucharek (205-93, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Lowicz players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Mateusz Szczypinski (194-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Alan Czujkowski (199-90, agency: Promotex) added 17 points respectively. Lowicz moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Pruszkow and Dziki Wwa. Miasto Szkla lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. Lowicz's next round opponent will be Pelplin (#12) in Pelpin where they are favorite. Miasto Szkla will play at home against Lancut and hope to win that game.
