There was a minor upset when higher ranked Cholet Basket (3-5) was defeated on the road by sixteenth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (3-5) 100-96. Gravelines-Dunkerque made 23-of-26 charity shots (88.5 percent) during the game. Gravelines-Dunkerque outrebounded Cholet Basket 41-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Erik McCree (203-93, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 7 rebounds. Moroccan-Belgian center Khalid Boukichou (208-92) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his eight free throws) for the winners. Gravelines-Dunkerque's coach Serge Crevecoeur allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Michael Stockton (185-89, college: Westminster, UT) replied with 32 points and 7 assists (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) and his fellow American import forward Aaron Jones (206-93, college: Ole Miss) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Cholet Basket. Five Gravelines-Dunkerque and four Cholet Basket players scored in double figures. Gravelines-Dunkerque moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Cholet and Chalon.
