Very expected game when 12th ranked Pelplin (7-11) lost on the road to seventh ranked Pruszkow (10-8) 92-75 on Saturday. Pruszkow made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 Pelplin turnovers. It was a good game for power forward Mateusz Szwed (200-91) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 steals. Guard Adrian Sulinski (188-89) contributed with 26 points for the winners. Four Pruszkow players scored in double figures. Marcin Dutkiewicz (198-86) replied with 18 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Canadian forward Nick Madray (206-94, college: Wagner, agency: Promotex) added 11 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Pelplin. Pelplin's coach Bartosz Sarzalo tested eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Pruszkow have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Lowicz and Dziki Wwa. Newly promoted Pelplin keeps the twelfth position with 11 games lost. Pruszkow will face Dziki Wwa (#7) in Warszawa in the next round. Pelplin will play at home against Lowicz (#8) and hope to win that game.
