Very expected game in Casalpusterlengo where 10th ranked Mantova (4-6) was defeated by sixth ranked Piacenza (6-4) 82-70 on Sunday. Mantova was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Swingman Luca Cesana (196-97) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American forward Markis McDuffie (203-97, college: Wichita St.) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field).
