Regular Season Round 19: Peja - Rahoveci 90-85

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Rahoveci (12-4) on the court of second ranked Peja on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Peja 90-85. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Rahoveci. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Peja looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Brandon Walters (208-95, college: MTSU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Montenegrin center Marko Perovic (204-92, agency: 011 Sports) contributed with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Peja players scored in double figures. American guard Marvin Jones (193-94, college: UWF) answered with 35 points (!!!) and 4 assists and the other American import guard Isaiah Traylor (193, college: Lakehead) added 25 points and 5 assists in the effort for Rahoveci. Peja have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 11-5 record behind leader Rahoveci, which they share with Prizreni. Rahoveci at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost. Peja is looking forward to face Prizreni (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Rahoveci will play against Prishtina and is hoping to win this game.
