Regular Season Round 19: Walbrzych - WKK Wroclaw 90-95

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Gornik (15-4) in Walbrzych on Wednesday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked WKK Wroclaw (15-4) 95-90. It was a key game for the second position in the league. It was a great evening for the former international center Piotr Niedzwiedzki (210-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Szymon Kiwilsza (201-97) helped adding 22 points and 10 rebounds. Four WKK Wroclaw and five Gornik players scored in double figures. WKK Wroclaw moved-up to second place, which they share with Walbrzych. WKK Wroclaw is looking forward to face Wisla Krakow (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Gornik will play against the league's leader Czarni (#1) in Slupsk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
