The game in Zadar supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Cibona (12-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Borik Puntamika (10-8). Cibona smashed Borik Puntamika 89-68 on Thursday. Cibona made 24-of-24 free shots (100 percent !!!) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for international swingman Toni Nakic (202-99, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 assists. The former international Mateo Dreznjak (195-99) contributed with 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Center Danijel Zovko (203-94) answered with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Jakov Vladovic (187-83) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Borik Puntamika. Five Cibona and four Borik Puntamika players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Cibona. They maintain fourth place with 12-3 record. Borik Puntamika lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost. Cibona's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zagreb H.Analitica.
