Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Spojnia (10-12) won against 11th ranked Twarde Pierniki (9-14) in Stargard 86-79. Spojnia made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for American point guard Jay Threatt (180-89, college: Delaware St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists. His fellow American import Nick Faust (198-93, college: LBSU) helped adding 23 points and 6 rebounds. The former international power forward Damian Kulig (205-87, agency: BeoBasket) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Donovan Jackson (188-96, college: Iowa St.) scored 20 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Spojnia maintains eighth place with 10-12 record. Twarde Pierniki lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. They share it with Enea Astoria and GTK Gliwice. Spojnia will play against Enea Astoria (#12) in Bydgoszcz in the next round. Twarde Pierniki will play on the road against Anwil in Wloclawek and hopes to get back on the winning track.
