Regular Season Round 21: Ura Basket - Kobrat 97-104

The game between closely ranked teams ended with tenth ranked Kobrat's (4-9) road victory over 11th ranked Ura Basket (1-13) 104-97 on Saturday. Ura Basket trailed by 11 points at halftime and as many as 14 after three quarters before a 35-28 last quarter charge cut the deficit to 97-104 at the end of the game. Kobrat made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-93, college: Utah) stepped up and scored 33 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners and the former international point guard Antto Nikkarinen (185-91, agency: Blacktop Management) chipped in 17 points, 8 rebounds and 15 assists. The best for the losing side was American guard Kevin Bracy-Davis (201-95, college: Davis & Elkins) with 25 points and 9 rebounds and the former international forward Matti Nuutinen (200-90, agency: Blacktop Management) scored 23 points and 6 rebounds. Four Kobrat and five Ura Basket players scored in double figures. Kobrat moved-up to ninth place. Ura Basket lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eleventh position with 13 games lost. Kobrat will meet bottom-ranked Korihait (#12) in the next round. Ura Basket will play again against Kobrat in Lapua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
