The game was mostly controlled by Kouvottaret. ViVe managed to win fourth quarter 23-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. American-American Samoan power forward Sarah Toeaina (185-96, college: Hawaii) nailed 25 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and American guard Aliyah Collier (180-97, college: Clemson) accounted for 15 points and 13 rebounds. American forward Kayla Gordon (183-95, college: Jacksonville) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 16 rebounds and the other American import guard Doniyah Cliney (182-96, college: S.Carolina) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for ViVe in the defeat. Four ViVe players scored in double figures. ViVe's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Kouvottaret. Defending champion moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Honka. ViVe at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Kouvottaret will meet at home higher ranked Forssan Alku (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. ViVe will play against HBA-Marsky and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
