Regular Season Round 15: Bochnia - Widzew 63-74

Rather expected game when 9th ranked Bochnia (3-12) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Widzew (7-8) 74-63 on Saturday. Widzew forced 28 Bochnia turnovers. It was a great evening for guard Anna Kudelska (169-98) who led her team to a victory scoring 18 points and 7 rebounds. Wiktoria Stepien (176-0) helped adding 18 points and 5 steals. The best for the losing side was power forward Anna Krawiec (182-95) with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 18 rebounds and swingman Sara Marczyk (172-2) scored 15 points. Widzew moved-up to fifth place in Group B, which they share with Katy Wrocl. Bochnia lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the ninth position with 12 games lost. Widzew will meet league's second-placed MUKS Poznan on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Bochnia will play against Tecza Leszno (#4) and hope to secure a win.
