Regular Season Round 15: Tecza Leszno - Gorzow Wlkp. II 61-55

Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Tecza Leszno (8-7) beat at home 6th ranked Gorzow Wlkp. II (6-8) 61-55 on Sunday. Strangely Gorzow Wlkp. II outrebounded Tecza Leszno 53-40 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for power forward Justyna Holtyn (185-94) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Alicja Grabska (170-99) helped adding 16 points and 4 assists. Four Tecza Leszno players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Joanna Kobylinska (178-2) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and power forward Weronika Dudek (187-2) scored 8 points and 10 rebounds. Gorzow Wlkp. II's coach Robert Pieczyrak rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Newly promoted Tecza Leszno maintains fourth place in Group B with 8-7 record. Loser Gorzow Wlkp. II dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. Tecza Leszno will meet Bochnia (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Gorzow Wlkp. II will play against Katy Wrocl. in Katy Wroclawskie and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
