Regular Season Round 15: Moron - Alcobendas 86-82

Moron can celebrate finally their first win this season after ten consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Alcobendas (3-9) 86-82 on Sunday. It was a great evening for point guard Diego Gallardo (192-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Alejandro Rodriguez (200-98) helped adding 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was Jorge Tejera (200-92) with 24 points and 7 rebounds and forward Jorge Parra (192-98) scored 18 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Moron maintains fourteenth place in Silver with 1-10 record. Newly promoted Alcobendas dropped to the thirteenth position with nine games lost. Moron will meet higher ranked Algeciras (#10) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Alcobendas will play against the league's leader Juaristi ISB where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
