There was an upset when higher ranked Ura Basket II (6-9) lost to twelfth ranked PeU-Basket (6-6) in Pernio 66-76 on Sunday. Ura Basket II was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. PeU-Basket forced 19 Ura Basket II turnovers. American forward Saiquan Jamison (203-98, college: Bowie St.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jussi Savolainen (186-85) contributed with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four PeU-Basket players scored in double figures. American power forward Brian Moultrie (198-87, college: Armstrong St.) replied with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Joona Forsstrom (196-95) added 8 points in the effort for Ura Basket II. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. PeU-Basket moved-up to eighth place in 1st Division. Loser Ura Basket II dropped to the ninth position with nine games lost. PeU-Basket will face Karkkila (#11) on the road in the next round. Ura Basket II will play against JyWe in Jyvaskyla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
