Undefeated leader Ferrol delivered the eighteenth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 8th ranked Adareva (9-9) 75-54 in Laguna. The winners were led by American-South African forward Sune Swart (190-95, college: Bucknell) who scored that evening 19 points and 5 rebounds and Argentinian Andrea Boquete (183-90) supported her with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Four Ferrol players scored in double figures. Even 18 points and 6 rebounds by Mali center Gnere Dembele (186-0) did not help to save the game for Adareva. Laura Ilunga (-2) added 9 points and 9 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Ferrol (18-0) have an impressive 18-game winning streak.
