Regular Season Round 14: Trapani - Treviglio 80-90

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th ranked Trapani (4-8) was defeated at home by twelfth ranked Treviglio (4-6) 90-80 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was American point guard JJ Frazier (178-95, college: Georgia) who scored 36 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Slovenian forward Mitja Nikolic (200-91) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds. American LaMarshall Corbett (189-88, college: Angelo St.) produced 23 points and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and his fellow American import forward Shonn Miller (201-93, college: UConn) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Treviglio moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 3 other teams. Loser Trapani dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. Treviglio will face Biella (#13) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Trapani will play against Casale and hope to win that game.
