The game in Borganes supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Selfoss (1-3) played at the court of eighth ranked Skallagrimur (2-2). Skallagrimur smashed Selfoss 88-64. The game without a history. Skallagrimur led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Skallagrimur forced 19 Selfoss turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian swingman Nebojsa Knezevic (196-87) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and American forward Mustapha Traore (203-95, college: Monmouth) who added 17 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. Four Skallagrimur players scored in double figures. At the losing side Croatian guard Kristijan Vladovic (185-99) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and American forward Terrance Motley (201-91, college: SHSU) scored 13 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Skallagrimur moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Sindri and Alftanes. Selfoss at the other side dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Vestri. Skallagrimur will play against Sindri (#5) in the next round. Selfoss will have a break next round.
