Regular Season Round 24: Enea Zastal - Trefl 101-82

EBL top team - Zastal Enea BC (22-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed sixth ranked Trefl (14-9) in Zielona Gora 101-82. Zastal Enea BC players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. It was a good game for forward Filip Put (201-93) who led his team to a victory with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Latvian forward Janis Berzins (201-93) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) for the winners. International point guard Lukasz Kolenda (196-99) replied with 19 points (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and American Nuni Omot (206-94, college: Baylor) added 15 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Trefl. Five Zastal Enea BC and four Trefl players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Zastal Enea BC have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-2 record. Trefl at the other side keeps the sixth place with nine games lost. Zastal Enea BC's next round opponent will be Spojnia (#8) in Stargard and are hoping to win another game. Trefl will play on the road against GTK in Gliwice and hope to win that game.
