Point guard Gabriele Romeo (184-97) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American swingman TreShaun Fletcher (202-94, college: Toledo) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import forward DeShawn Sims (203-88, college: Michigan) added 16 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Pistoia. Five Pistoia players scored in double figures. Eurobasket RO moved-up to fifth place in A2. Loser Pistoia dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. Eurobasket RO will face league's second-placed Napoli on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Pistoia will play against Rieti (#9) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the Serie A just one year after relegation.
