Regular Season Round 15: HBA-Marsky - LoKoKo Bisons 78-79

Important game to mention about took place in Helsinki. First ranked LoKoKo Bisons (12-1) saved a 1-point victory on the road edging 3rd placed HBA-Marsky (10-4) 79-78 on Thursday evening. The guests were already 15 points ahead at halftime and as many as 17 after three quarters before a 33-17 last quarter charge of HBA-Marsky cut the lead to 79-78 at the end of the game. LoKoKo Bisons shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Juho-Matti Henttonen (202-96) who led the winners and scored 21 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Jalen Canty (203-95, college: UCSB) accounted for 10 points and 14 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Miro Little (196-4) came up with 11 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and guard Sebastian Lindberg (193-2) added 13 points respectively for HBA-Marsky in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. HBA-Marsky's coach Juha Sten tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. LoKoKo Bisons maintains first place in 1st Division with 12-1 record. HBA-Marsky at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
