Very important is a road loss of third ranked Nassjo (11-8) against sixth ranked KFUM Jamtland (8-8) on Friday night. Visiting Nassjo was defeated by KFUM Jamtland in a tough game in Ostersund 75-83. It looked good early as Nassjo took a 8-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then KFUM Jamtland took control and eventually winning the game that evening by 8 points. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Pierre Hampton (201-91) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and Guyanese forward Cyril Langevine (203-98, college: URI, agency: BeoBasket) who added 11 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. American center Dartaye Ruffin (205-91, college: Drexel, agency: Dynamics Global Management) responded with 20 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Craig Lecesne (206-97, college: SJSU) scored 12 points and 7 rebounds. Nassjo's coach Joakim Kallman tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. KFUM Jamtland maintains sixth position with 8-8 record. Nassjo at the other side keeps the third place with eight games lost. KFUM Jamtland will play against Umea (#8) at home in the next round. Nassjo will play against BC Lulea (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
