Regular Season Round 20: Zadar - Dubrava 93-84

Premijer Liga top team - Zadar (17-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eleventh ranked Dubrava (3-15) 93-84. Zadar players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The winners were led by American power forward Chinanu Onuaku (208-96, college: Louisville) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and the other American import swingman Justin Carter (193-87, college: Creighton, agency: Alti Sport) supported him with 12 points and 5 assists. Five Zadar players scored in double figures. Zadar's coach Veljko Mrsic used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 27 points and 6 assists by point guard Luka Panduric (193-93) did not help to save the game for Dubrava. American guard Tramaine Isabell (185-95, college: St.Louis) added 27 points for the guests. Zadar have an impressive nine-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 17-2 record. Dubrava lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Zadar will play against Split (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Dubrava's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Zagreb Cibona.
