No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Lublin (11-5) beat 10th ranked Katarzynki (2-15) in Torun 74-65. They outrebounded Katarzynki 45-29 including a 36-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Morgan Bertsch (193, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Italian point guard Ilaria Milazzo (170-94) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Lublin's coach Krzysztof Szewczyk allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Austrian forward Sarah Sagerer (190-96, college: Stetson) with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American guard Briahanna Jackson (168-93, college: Louisville) scored 16 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Lublin moved-up to third place. Katarzynki lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 15 games lost. Lublin will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Katarzynki will play at home against Sosnowiec (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
