Rather expected game when 11th ranked Albino (5-10) was defeated on the road by ninth ranked Milano (6-8) 62-45 on Saturday. Swingman Susanna Toffali (178-98) stepped up and scored 18 points and 4 assists for the winners and Arianna Beretta (180-96) chipped in 16 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Patrizia De Gianni (190-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Alice Carrara (186-97) scored 5 points. Albino's coach let to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Milano moved-up to eighth place in A2. Loser Albino dropped to the twelfth position with ten games lost. Milano will face higher ranked Vicenza (#5) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Albino will play against Bolzano BC (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
