Very expected game when 9th ranked Ionikos Nikaias (4-9) lost to fifth ranked Peristeri GS (8-5) in Athens 70-86. The game without a history. Peristeri GS led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-19 charity shots (94.7 percent) during the game. Peristeri GS forced 20 Ionikos Nikaias turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American forward Tre McLean (196-93, college: Chattanooga, agency: Slash Sports) fired 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winners.
