Regular Season Round 14: Betanzos - PBB 81-80

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Betanzos (2-6) edged at home higher ranked PBB (3-3) 81-80 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Senegalese center Khadim Fall (205-0) who had a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds. Daniel Martin (187-97) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists. Point guard Lucas Vaquero (185-89) produced 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Javier Dominguez (199-94) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Betanzos moved-up to ninth place in Group A-C. Loser PBB keeps the sixth position with three games lost. Betanzos will face higher ranked Obradoiro S. (#3) in Santiago de Comp in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
