Regular Season Round 9: Mestre - Senigallia 61-64

Rather expected game when 12th ranked Mestre (3-6) was edged at home by ninth ranked Senigallia (5-4) 64-61 on Sunday. It was a good game for Simone Pozzetti (202-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 15 rebounds. Guard Marco Giacomini (182-94) contributed with 17 points and 4 assists for the winners. Point guard Filippo Fazioli (192-98, agency: SLN) answered with 21 points and 4 assists and power forward Alessandro Spatti (203-95, agency: SLN) added 13 points and 14 rebounds in the effort for Mestre. Mestre's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Senigallia moved-up to second place, which they share with 5 other teams. Mestre lost their fifth game in a row.
