Very significant was Orzinuovi's (#3) 96-89 road victory against their biggest opponent Piacenza in A2. It was a key game for the second position in A2. The winners were led by American point guard Anthony Miles (184-89, college: Lamar) who scored that evening 23 points and 5 rebounds and the former international point guard Marco Spanghero (185-91) supported him with 22 points and 7 assists. Orzinuovi's coach Fabio Corbani allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games.
