No shocking result in a game in Badalona where second ranked Joventut 2 (4-3) smashed bottom-ranked Zaragoza (0-4) 72-52 on Sunday. Joventut 2 forced 28 Zaragoza turnovers. Zaragoza was plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was forward Miguel Allen (203-3) who scored 15 points and 7 rebounds. Ruben Oliveira chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. Four Joventut 2 players scored in double figures. Center Albert Fontet (213-86) produced 3 points and 14 rebounds and point guard David Martin (186-99) added 7 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Joventut 2 maintains second position in Group C5 with 4-3 record behind leader Valls Nutrion. Zaragoza at the other side, also newcomer in the league, still closes the standings with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
