There was an upset when higher ranked Torino (5-4) was defeated at home by thirteenth ranked Biella (4-9) 90-85 on Sunday. They made 21-of-25 free shots (84.0 percent) during the game. It was a great shooting night for Biella especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Jeffrey Carroll (198-94, college: OK State) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Polish power forward Jakub Wojciechowski (214-90) who added 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Four Biella players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Senegalese power forward Ousmane Diop (205-0) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Jason Clark (190-90, college: Georgetown) scored 23 points. Biella maintains thirteenth position in A2 with 4-9 record. Loser Torino dropped to the ninth place with four games lost. Biella will face league's leader Tortona at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
