Leader Breidablik delivered the fourth victory. This time they crushed 6th ranked Hrunamenn (2-3) 113-75 in Kopavogur. Breidablik dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Hrunamenn's 32. Breidablik forced 21 Hrunamenn turnovers and outrebounded them 60-29 including a 26-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 38 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by Hrunamenn's players. It was a good game for American guard Sam Prescott (190-90, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: SDJ Sports) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 5 assists. Guard Arni Hrafnsson (187-98) contributed with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Breidablik players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Breidablik have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-1 record. Newly promoted Hrunamenn keeps the sixth place with three games lost. Breidablik will play against bottom-ranked Selfoss (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
