The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Norrkoping Dolphins as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Norrkoping Dolphins smashed 5th ranked BC Lulea at home 103-83. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Norrkoping Dolphins made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. Norrkoping Dolphins outrebounded BC Lulea 41-23 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. International Adam Ramstedt (208-95) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Kamau Stokes (183-95, college: Kansas St.) chipped in 31 points. Stokes is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Norrkoping Dolphins' coach Mikko Riipinen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was international center Adam Ronnqvist (181-90) with 23 points and 4 assists and American Steven Davis (203-93, college: Wright St., agency: Players Group) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. BC Lulea at the other side dropped to the third place with eight games lost. They share the position with Boras. BC Lulea will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Norrkoping Dolphins will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked Fryshuset in Stockholm.
