There was an upset when higher ranked Bologna Basket (6-4) was rolled over at home by thirteenth ranked Sangiorgese (3-6) 91-63 on Saturday. Forward Sebastiano Bianchi (197-92, agency: SLN) scored 19 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Andrea Picarelli (196-96, agency: SLN) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Sangiorgese players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Joel Myers (184-95) responded with 14 points and Gabriele Fin (195-90) scored 14 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
