Regular Season Round 12: Le Mans - Nanterre 48-68

An interesting game took place in Le Mans where higher ranked Le Mans (6-5) was upset on its own court by eleventh ranked Nanterre (4-4) 68-48. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Le Mans. Nanterre forced 21 Le Mans turnovers and outrebounded them 37-25 including 26 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by power forward Samuel Eyango-Dingo (207-1) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds and Florian Fortas (190-0) supported him with 17 points. Four Nanterre players scored in double figures. Even 15 points by Hugo Mienandi (199-3) did not help to save the game for Le Mans. Senegalese Dahaba Magassa (191-2) added 10 points. Le Mans' coach rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Nanterre moved-up to ninth place. Le Mans at the other side keeps the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Limoges. Nanterre will play against higher ranked Limoges (#5) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Le Mans will play against Orleans and hopes to get back on the winning track.
