There was an upset in Madrid where leader Rivas (6-1) was defeated by sixth ranked Estudiantes B (4-4) 80-65 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Israeli-French center Gilad Levy (215-2, agency: Wasserman) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points and 9 rebounds. Guard Pablo Suarez (188-99) helped adding 18 points and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was forward Jesus de la Torre (201-94) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and American center Julien Sargent (211-91, college: Mobile, AL) scored 9 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Estudiantes B moved-up to fifth place in Group B-A. Loser Rivas still keeps top position with one game lost. Estudiantes B will have a break next round. Rivas will play at home against Estudio and hope to win that game.
