Regular Season Round 10: Crema - Agrigento 78-85

The game between closely ranked teams ended with fourth ranked Agrigento's (7-2) road victory over 5th ranked Crema (6-4) 85-78 on Sunday. Crema was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Naturalized Argentinian forward Albano Chiarastella (197-85, agency: BIG) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Andrea Saccaggi (190-89) chipped in 27 points during the contest. At the losing side forward Riccardo Pederzini (198-89, agency: Players Group) responded with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Luca Montanari (181-92) scored 17 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Crema's coach Riccardo Eliantonio let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Agrigento have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in B. Loser Crema keeps the fifth position with four games lost. Agrigento will face Ragusa (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Crema will play against Palermo (#15) and hope to win that game.
