Very expected game when 12th ranked Elitzur Yavne (2-7) was defeated at home by fifth ranked H.Galilee (6-3) 79-73 on Sunday. H.Galilee made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. H.Galilee moved-up to fourth place, which they share with M.Ashdod. Elitzur Yavne lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost. H.Galilee will meet at home bottom-ranked M.Kiryat Motzkin (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Elitzur Yavne will play against Maccabi Raanana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
