Very important is a road loss of third ranked Huima (11-7) against twelfth ranked Team Pajulahti (7-11) on Sunday night. Visiting Huima was defeated by Team Pajulahti in Lahti 88-76. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 88-76. Team Pajulahti forced 26 Huima turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Eemi Luukkonen (200-2) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds and guard Saku Levola (186-0) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Team Pajulahti's coach Pekka Setala used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Kavaughn Scott (201-98, college: Loyola, MD) responded with 22 points and 7 rebounds and guard Veeti Jamsen (186-2) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Team Pajulahti moved-up to eleventh place in 1st Division. Loser Huima keeps the third position with seven games lost. Team Pajulahti will meet Pyrinto Ak.B (#13) in the next round. Huima will play against Karkkila (#12) and hope to secure a win.
