The most exciting game of round 17 in the Serie A2 took place in Capo d'Orlando. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked Cd'Orlando (7-7) to eighth ranked Torino (7-4) 72-71 in the game for the sixth place. The best player for the winners was point guard Alessandro Cappelletti (186-95) who scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Jason Clark (190-90, college: Georgetown) chipped in 19 points. Four Torino players scored in double figures. American swingman Xavier Johnson (201-93, college: Colorado) produced 23 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Jordan Floyd (188-97, college: King) added 24 points and 4 steals respectively for the hosts. Torino moved-up to sixth place which they share with defeated Cd'Orlando. Cd'Orlando lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Pistoia and Milano. Torino are looking forward to face league's second-placed Orzinuovi at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Cd'Orlando will play against Biella (#13) and is hoping to win this game.
