We should mention about the upset which took place in Ramat Hasharon, where 9th ranked E.Netanya (5-6) was outleveled in a road game by twelfth ranked Hasharon (4-6) 87-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of E.Netanya. Hasharon shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American forward Christian Cunningham (201-97, college: JSU) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 8 rebounds. Gil Amitay (198-89) contributed with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Bryce Washington (201-96, college: La-Lafayette) answered with 12 points and 4 assists and point guard Roi Navarro (190-96) added 8 points in the effort for E.Netanya. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hasharon maintains twelfth place with 4-6 record. E.Netanya at the other side keeps the ninth position with six games lost. Hasharon will play against higher ranked Maccabi Ashdod (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. E.Netanya will play against H.Galilee and will have a slim chance for a victory.
