Superleague top team - Rustavi (10-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed ninth ranked Vera (4-8) 79-53. The game was mostly controlled by Rustavi. Vera was better in third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Vera 44-31 including a 39-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Mike Davis (193-96, college: Queens, NC) fired a double-double by scoring 19 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The former international center Gegi Baqradze (206-94) chipped in 18 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). American forward Josh Hawley (201-96, college: Tarleton St.) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 14 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and his fellow American import guard Bryson Scott (188-94, college: PFW) added 17 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rustavi have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-1 record. Vera at the other side keeps the ninth place with eight games lost.
