The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked KTP Basket's (8-10) home victory over 10th ranked Kouvot (5-14) in Kotka 101-95. Kouvot was ahead by 2 points after three quarters before a 32-24 charge of KTP Basket, which allowed them to win the game. Five Kouvot players scored in double figures. KTP Basket moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Kataja and Kobrat. Kouvot lost their third game in a row. They keep the tenth position with 14 games lost. KTP Basket's next round opponent will be league's second-placed Kauhajoki at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kouvot will play against Lahti (#6) and hope to win that game.
