Seventh ranked Den Bosch (4-3) crushed at home 9th ranked Almere (1-5) by 45 points 119-74, which is the biggest margin this round on Saturday night. Den Bosch dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Almere's 22. Den Bosch forced 24 Almere turnovers and outrebounded them 35-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 60.0 percentage. Den Bosch looked well-organized offensively handing out 37 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Almere's players. Worth to mention a quality performance of American-Iraqi guard Demario Mayfield (196-91, college: Angelo St.) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 4 assists (perfect behind the arc making all six shots !!!). American guard JaCori Payne (180-96, college: Columbus St.) helped adding 19 points and 7 assists. At the losing side American-Italian point guard Dante Lombardi (183-96, college: IUP, agency: Players Group) responded with 15 points and 6 assists and power forward Jandell Hersisia (200-90) scored 13 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the third consecutive win for Den Bosch. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Den Helder. Almere lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
