There was no surprise when 12th ranked Kalev/TLU (2-18) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Rapla (12-8) 81-71 on Saturday. Rapla forced 19 Kalev/TLU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American point guard Brandon Childress (183-97, college: Wake Forest) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 6 rebounds. Latvian Roberts Freimanis (203-91, college: Liepaja) helped adding 11 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. New Zealand power forward Samuel Timmins (211-97, college: Washington) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American guard Parker Van Dyke (190-94, college: Utah) scored 16 points. Kalev/TLU's coach Martin Muursepp tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Rapla have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Kalev/TLU lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 18 games lost.
