Regular Season Round 13: Dijon - Bourg 85-74

There was no surprise when 16th ranked Bourg (3-9) was defeated on the road by fourteenth ranked Dijon (4-5) 85-74 on Sunday. Dijon dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Bourg's 24. Forward Mathis Rostomoff (204-0) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field) for the winners and Robin Ducote (193-1) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists. At the losing side guard Tom Dary-Sagnes (193-93) responded with 16 points and 7 rebounds and swingman Corentin Falcoz (190-2) scored 18 points. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Dijon moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Monaco. Loser Bourg keeps the sixteenth position with nine games lost. Dijon will meet at home Chalons-Reims (#17) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Bourg will play against the league's leader Strasbourg having rather not much hope for a victory.
