Serie A1 top team - Venezia (19-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked San Martino (9-9) 82-59. Venezia forced 20 San Martino turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a great evening for the former international Martina Bestagno (189-90) who led her team to a victory scoring 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the nineteenth consecutive win for Venezia. They maintain first place with 19-0 record. San Martino at the other side keeps the seventh position with nine games lost. Venezia will play against league's second-placed Schio on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. San Martino will play against Ragusa (#3) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
